COLON HYDROTHERAPYNottingham Colonic Irrigation Clinic
Colonic Irrigation, also known as Colon Hydrotherapy or a Colonic, is a way of cleansing the colon. It is hygienic, very safe and popular.
Colonic Irrigation (Colon Hydrotherapy) is very beneficial for clients with the following-
- Allergies and food intolerance
- Bad breath
- Bloating
- Constipation and or diarrhoea
- Clients wishing to detoxify
- Flatulence
- Headaches from toxicity
- Help with many medical conditions
- Improving bowel function
- Improve energy levels
- Improving skin
- Improving immune system
- Indigestion, reflux and or heart burn
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Lifting mood and encourage a feeling of well-being
AND MANY MORE!
The treatment exercises and tones the bowel and helps the body get rid of waste which reduces the toxic load. These toxins can make people feel unwell, have headaches, feel sluggish and make other health conditions worse.
As the name suggests the treatment involves introducing warm filtered water slowly into the colon. The treatment is not meant to be painful and a towel is used during the treatment to preserve modesty.
During the treatment advice about diet and nutrition is often given. Herbs and supplements will be advised when necessary.
Treatment times vary but usually last about 1¼ hours. This includes time for a consultation as well as the treatment (45 mins approx). The number of treatments that a client will be advised to have will depend on the individual and advice is given to clients at the end of the treatment.
I trained in Colon Hydrotherapy at the National College of Colon Hydrotherapy and am a member of the Association and Register of Colon Hydrotherapists (A.R.C.H).
